This refers to jade that has been polished and processed to the minimum extent necessary, and is the most valuable type that is closest to natural jade. The surface is polished and treated with colorless wax, but this treatment does not decrease the value.
★★★★★★★★★
This piece is made of Burmese jade, a slightly deep green color, and has a nice blend of light and dark colors that give it a strong sense of viscosity and transparency.
There were originally inclusions at the edges, so they were removed, and while most jadeite has a rough surface, this piece was polished on both sides to a shiny finish.
The main criteria for the value of jade are its color, thickness, transparency, and inclusions, and jade that meets all of these criteria is traded at an extremely high price, making it out of reach only to the extremely wealthy.
Regarding the color, the bright and vivid color known as apple green is of course fine in itself, but it is expensive, and the founder and leading figure of GTJ, who has been working with jade for many years, has taught us that a deeper, darker green feels more luxurious and valuable.
This jade is quite thick, has a transparent and viscous feel, and is of a very high standard in all aspects, so if you like shading and depth of color, this is a stone worth buying.
Just as it was finished, a big name in the industry looked at it and gave it his stamp of approval as being fine jade, so be sure to take this opportunity to get your hands on it.
