This cobalt spinel has a deep violet (bluish-purple) base color that subtly shimmers with a greenish-blue hue, and is crafted into a fancy heart shape with finely outlined edges.

The pavilion side features sharp facets centered on the culet, radiating a keen sparkle in all directions.

There is a single inclusion on the table, an apatite-like inclusion near the heart's cleft, and a glittering fingerprint-like inclusion on the pavilion side, but these are completely imperceptible to the naked eye. Despite its deep color, it is a beautiful crystal with excellent clarity.

Due to the distinct colorations of iron and cobalt, the balance of blue and violet changes depending on the light source and time of day. Under filament light, violet becomes predominant.
