Good morning, this is Nori-chan.
This time, rather than talking about jewelry, I made a beautiful item ,
It is a blog-style product introduction that incorporates short stories .

As a prelude...
Nori-chan has been handling stones for about 20 years, since he was in elementary school.
Nowadays I enjoy collecting stones like benitoite and proustite ( a pale pink silver ore) , but when I first started collecting stones I followed the same path as most people .

When collecting stones, or entering what is commonly known as the stone swamp , you will come across some stones that you collected in the early to mid-stages when you had no knowledge, and you will wonder, " What should I do with this one? ", which is unfortunate.
These are the ones you often see being sold by individuals on buying and selling sites.
Of course, I have a lot of children too.

This ties in with the main topic, but in Nori-chan's case, in addition to "organizing and releasing" the stones, " stones with the potential to be reborn beautifully will be entrusted to the representative, Ilmo ."
The result was the stone I will introduce later.
Well, saying I "purchased" it sounds a bit exaggerated, so it might be more accurate to say I just bought it (laughs).

In fact, this process itself is not a project, but there are already gemstones that have been reborn through this route.

This is it ( Ametrine 2.24ct ).
It was a fancy oval with a beautiful color and cut, and it was so cute that it found a buyer right away.
Thank you for your purchase.

This can be said for any jewelry dealer, but purchasing is a basic and extremely difficult task .
Not all stones can be used as products, including raw stones and even stones in their "before" state that have already been faceted.
Even in actual purchasing , judgment, experience, and negotiation will determine whether or not the product will be available to you in the future.

Nori-chan is adding to her own collection, and even when making a personal purchase, she still considers the cut, quality, and price to some extent before making a final decision.
If you are operating as a business, you will ultimately have to make a profit , so the transactions will be even more severe .

Now, one of the pieces we gave to Ilmo this time has been cut into a gemstone.
The stone below is in its before state, but out of the several stones I gave her, I had one that I thought would turn out great, so I asked Pia-chan to cut it.

This one is a beautiful green-blue color similar to grandidierite, and although it does have inclusions, they are rare for this type of stone.
I will add more before photos at the end of the product page.

Ilmo said, " The tourmaline I received from Nori-chan is finished, so I sent it to Japan ." The finished product arrived in Japan along with the items from the lucky bag that everyone had kindly provided as wedding favors for Ilmo and Lulu-chan.

About this gem,
Ilmo commented, " The angle of the long step cut was not good, so there was a window in the table, so I went for a flower-style cut and made the table a little smaller to minimize the open feeling. "

They said they had minimized the sense of gaps, but the height of the stone is so high that it doesn't feel gappy at all , and it has more depth and sparkle than the original stone in a good way.

The inclusions are not particularly noticeable due to the color and sparkle, and the stone is finished with a weight that far exceeds its character.

Although the number will be small in the future, there may be some gemstones that Nori-chan finds interesting that Ilmo will finish and sell.
