This is an unheated sapphire that was purchased in Kanchanaburi, a sapphire mining town in western Thailand that I visited in April 2024.

It has an elegant and gorgeous color like gold-toned imperial topaz, and the color appears stronger as it is slightly concentrated on both sides.

It is a beautiful crystal with high transparency and no noticeable inclusions, and you can enjoy its strong sparkle with colorful fire.

Although it is completely invisible to the naked eye, there is a streak of blue running horizontally, and it has a subtle greenish sparkle that gives it a sophisticated look.

The mine has been closed and beautiful crystals are said to make up only 1% of the total, so be sure to experience the beauty of these rare, unheated crystals from Kanchanaburi for yourself.
