This is a green beryl from Nigeria. It's a green beryl that is typically lighter than emerald and gets its color mainly from vanadium or iron.
Among the current collection, this one has the palest color but is the largest single stone. It's a long baguette with a scissor cut, giving it an attractive sparkle.
Furthermore, no inclusions are noticeable, and the color appears as one-third pale green and two-thirds colorless. While not distinctly bicolor, it does have a subtle bicolor feel, which is a key point.
Green beryl is essentially almost the same as emerald, and even with highly transparent stones like this one, there's a fairly high probability of impregnation treatment. While we haven't tested this particular stone to that extent, it's generally safe to assume that Nigerian green beryl on the market has undergone impregnation treatment.
However, unlike emeralds, the presence or absence of impregnation currently doesn't significantly affect the price, so we believe you don't need to worry about it.
This is a highly transparent stone with elaborate finishing; please enjoy it firsthand.
