This is a green beryl from Nigeria. It's basically a green beryl that is brighter than emerald and gets its color from vanadium or iron.


Among the several new listings, this one has the deepest color, and while it's not an emerald cut, the elongated rectangular shape gives it an emerald-like appearance. Its color saturation is as rich and beautiful as Russian emeralds.


There is a color boundary and an inclusion in the center. While not a very large inclusion, it appears exaggerated in close-up shots.

Green beryl is essentially the same as emerald, and even with highly transparent pieces like this one, there's a significant chance of impregnation treatment. While we haven't conducted such an examination here, you can generally assume that green beryls from Nigeria on the market have undergone impregnation treatment.

However, unlike emeralds, the presence or absence of impregnation does not significantly affect the price, so we believe you don't need to worry about it.
