We would like to introduce you to this charming and interesting fire opal, with a base color that resembles the beautiful orange sunset sky lit by the setting sun, and rich red color clusters that resemble bright red clouds.

The slightly silky texture of the stone and the cube cut, which makes the GTJ original box shape stand out, are a perfect combination, resulting in a masterpiece with the box shape standing out so prominently that it's almost amusing.

Opals have a low specific gravity of 2.10 among gemstones (sapphire has 4.00), and often feel large for their weight, but this one feels quite large at just under 1cm for its 2.35ct, and its strong color gives it an outstanding presence.
