This is a royal blue sapphire from Ethiopia, a new source where sapphire deposits were said to have been discovered in 2017.

A deep hue that combines highly saturated purple with beautiful blue, with a hint of green in the blue, gives off a royal blue sparkle that seems to well up from the thick proportions.

It is a beautiful crystal with no inclusions noticeable to the naked eye, and has a simple, neat baguette cut that is free of any unnecessary details.
