At first glance, this spinel appears jet black, but when light is applied or viewed with tweezers, it reveals a rich purple, making it a unique loose stone.

This is a spinel over 6ct with a classic pear shape and a flower cut, and it's safe to say it's a stone that can be enjoyed by connoisseurs.

When viewed in a loose stone case, it appears dark, yet a faint glimmer can be felt from within. When a penlight is shone on the spinel, a strong reddish hue can be observed, and when strong light passes through, inclusions hidden inside the spinel can be seen.

These inclusions do not appear as a single straight line like rutile, but rather as a collection of fine linear inclusions. It is believed to be a mineral called Hogbomite, which is rarely found even in Vietnamese products.
