A cornflower blue sapphire from Myanmar (Burma) with both a top-grade blue zone and a colorless zone.
The blue reflects in the colorless part, creating a unique appearance.
It is finished with an elegant cut, framed in two tiers at the four corners, and features a step cut on the pavilion side.
Straight and neat sparkle is the base, while on the crown side, two-tiered triangular facets create delicate diffuse reflections.
It is a composition where stillness and movement, straight lines and multifaceted elements, are beautifully harmonized.
Although the crystal itself is clearly bicolor, the biggest appeal of this stone is that when viewed from the front, the blue reflection spreads throughout, making it look like a single-color stone.
With every change in angle, the shades and depth of blue change, allowing you to enjoy a variety of expressions.
The blue zone is a deep cornflower blue, close to royal blue.
Meanwhile, in the colorless zone, a bright, clear cornflower blue emerges due to reflection, and the balance between the color boundary and the reflection position is exceptionally excellent.
The colorless zone peeks out slightly from the table, creating a visually interesting separation between deep blue and bright blue at that boundary.
No prominent inclusions are observed, and the transparency is outstanding.
With good proportions and ample thickness, it boasts a highly finished quality.
Please enjoy this rare 1.5ct-plus volume stone, which combines a classic color with structural interest, in your own hands.
