This rare cornflower blue sapphire from Burma has a fine, silky texture that is uniform throughout, and is light and deep, yet vibrant, saturated, and silky, making it the true cornflower blue.

It has a neat standard oval shape with a crown cut consisting of a triangle divided into two steps, and the step cut on the pavilion is simple so any imperfections are easily noticeable, but it was carefully crafted by Piacchan, GTJ's main cutter.

When strong light hits it, the silk inclusions stand out, giving it a beautiful luster.

There is a faint color band in the center, and the slight shades of color are what allow you to enjoy the unique sapphire character.

It is a beautiful crystal with no noticeable inclusions and a well-proportioned stone that resembles a specimen, so we hope it will become part of your master collection of Burmese cornflower sapphires.
