This is a Sri Lankan chrysoberyl with a hint of green in its yellow, finished in a perfectly octagonal fancy round cut.

The pavilion side is finished with a Narika cut, which means "clock" in Thai, emitting a sharp sparkle from the center like a clock's second hand.

Growth lines run freely throughout the entire stone, creating a soft Schiller effect when light hits it, and silk inclusions overlapping with the growth lines sparkle brightly.

Although there are fine inclusions near the culet, they do not significantly detract from the overall impression of the piece.
