This color-change sapphire has a mixture of blue and purple with a hint of greenish blue, giving it the multi-colored feel that is typical of Tanzania.

When exposed to filament light it changes to a beautiful purplish pink.

There are layered inclusions near the culet, and there are also inclusions to the sides that appear a bit hazy when light is shone on them, but they are not significant or noticeable to the naked eye, and the stone as a whole is clear and full of fine sparkle.

It is a fancy oval with a bordered outline, and the crown side is sharply finished in two steps from the table to the girdle.

When exposed to regular UV light, the fluorescence turns a soft red, but when exposed to visible light blocking light, it turns a beautiful red.
