This is a rare, unheated Burmese sapphire rough stone of the quality suitable for cutting, which has been fashioned into a sugar loaf cabochon.

The entire surface has a glossy finish, and the deep, beautiful silky blue color is accented with the luster of silk inclusions along the growth lines, making it incredibly cute.

In addition to the silk inclusions, there are other streak-like inclusions and slight extrusions on the back, but they are not very noticeable.

Please enjoy these rare and lovely Burmese sapphires, which are unique to a specialty corundum store and are rarely seen.
