This sapphire from central Vietnam has a beautiful party-like feel, with a soft green base mixed with deep blue, and the neat oval shape of the table is slightly smaller, creating a Gira cut with a base of flower cuts.

The bright green background with the deep blue gives it a light depth, but the bright, gorgeous, and soft green and blue sparkle overlap to create a beautiful look.

There is a slight sense of openness to the table that is unique to step cuts, but by making the table smaller this is kept to a minimum, whilst still allowing the table to show a sense of transparency and a sense of pooling of blue colour, with a delicate sparkle all around it.

Although there are fine inclusions, they are beautiful crystals that are not visible to the naked eye, and fire occasionally flickers.
