This spessartine garnet emits a brilliant orange sparkle from its deep body color.

It is finished in a powerful octagon shape, approaching 3 carats, and has a cut that appears standard but emits a special sparkle, with 4 steps on the crown and 6 steps on the pavilion.

Although it contains a relatively significant amount of pyrope, this gemstone's color and character are typically circulated as spessartine garnet, so it is introduced as such.

This cut, with 4 steps on the crown and 6 steps on the pavilion, can be called a new frontier in step cuts. Since the pavilion side originally had a full, bulging proportion, many steps were carved to maximize the brilliance.

The idea is very simple, yet its simplicity yields excellent results, creating a high-resolution, linear sparkle that, while retaining a standard impression, is divided into unseen fine segments.

Before cutting, it was 3.4ct, so there wasn't much room. We had given up on reaching 3ct and cut it to achieve good brilliance, but it didn't reduce as much as we thought.

As a result, we narrowly missed 3ct, but in return, we were able to achieve a satisfying sparkle.

Although there are some fine granular inclusions throughout, they are transparent and barely noticeable to the naked eye, not detracting from the overall beauty of the piece.

Despite having good thickness, it is a type with a wide face, making it quite impressive, and its high-saturation orange is breathtakingly beautiful.
