This is an unheated sapphire from Kanchanaburi that I purchased during a visit to Kanchanaburi in April 2024.

This stone is typical of Kanchanaburi, with light yellow and subtle blue tones, and emits a yellow and green sparkle and the tremendous fire that only light colors can provide.

This is a rare, unheated, beautiful crystal of over 1 carat from Kanchanaburi, so GTJ Piacchan polished it up while preserving the original cut and maximizing its size, creating a neat oval.
