This sapphire was from Kanchanaburi, which I visited on a jewel-focused trip in December 2023.

This is an unheated sapphire with a beautiful light yellow crystal and no inclusions.

Finished as a fancy oval with outlined edges, it sparkles brilliantly and has a flickering fire.

It fluoresces orange when exposed to visible light-blocking UV light.
