This is a long-wave UV tenebrescent zircon that has the effect of changing color (tenebresence) when exposed to long-wave ultraviolet light (320-400 nm) .

The original light gold/silver base color will give off a light blue sparkle, but when exposed to long-wave UV light for 1-2 minutes it will change to a brown/bronze color, and then when exposed to LED light for 3-4 minutes it will return to its original color.

It is also known as a chameleon type, and the color will naturally return to normal over time after it has discolored.

This beautiful crystal has excellent transparency and no noticeable inclusions, and is finished as a fancy oval with a well-defined outline, with a delicate flower cut that gives it an abundance of sparkle.
