This exquisite piece, fitting for the founder of GTJ, a grand master bridging the gap between rough and polished gems, is a reversible star sapphire from Yen Bai, Northern Vietnam. It features a side where a subtle star appears when illuminated, and another side with a facet cut.

This unique crystal, an interesting blend of pink crystallization with layers of white silk inclusions and orange inclusions, has been partially cut into a cabochon and partially faceted, resulting in an artistic piece unlike anything seen before.

The cabochon side features a marbled mix of pink, white, and orange, with a faint star appearing when illuminated. Since this is difficult to capture in photos, we recommend watching the video.

The faceted side, resembling a marquis, has been cut with utmost precision, allowing you to enjoy the luster of the silk and the mingling of inclusions.

When exposed to UV light, areas other than orange fluoresce in a strong pink.
