This unheated pink sapphire was mined in Luc Yen in northern Vietnam, and is a beautiful stone with a vivid pink color similar to that of a ruby.

It is a beautiful crystal with a slight silkiness overall, high transparency and no inclusions, and when light hits it the silkiness becomes apparent and you can see a silky line running down the center.

It is finished in a regular octagonal fancy round shape and features ultra-glittering cuts with intricate flower cuts all around the small table.

Proportionally it is not a thick type, but there is no sense of openness and the scene is spacious, making it feel large for its carat weight.

It has excellent fluorescence when exposed to UV light.
