This piece is a deep, unheated cornflower blue sapphire from Madagascar, with a small table and an ultra-glittering cut that features a range of intricate facets on the crown side.

The small table on the crown side is surrounded by gem-shaped facets, which are one of the focal points of this cut.

The pavilion side is finished in a step cut, which combines with the glitter cut on the crown side to create beautiful, dispersed, fine sparkles.

There is a large, deep cornflower blue cluster in the center with light green around it, giving it a slightly party feel.

It is a beautiful crystal with no noticeable inclusions, and because of its rich color it is surprisingly difficult to see with the naked eye, but it has a silky texture in some places and a light velvety feel.
