This piece is made from Sri Lankan sapphire, which has a light, party-like sparkle and is layered with the vibrant cornflower blue and yellow colors typical of Sri Lankan sapphires, and is finished into a delicate flower-cut oval.

When you shine a UV light on it, only the yellow parts fluoresce orange, so you can see how the yellow has been incorporated. Also, when you look at it from the pavilion side, you can see that the blue color bands and pools of color are coming in dramatically.

The neat oval shape is decorated with delicate flower cuts, creating a subtle cocktail of blue, green and yellow for a party feel.

There are a few small disc-shaped inclusions and white inclusions, but these are beautiful crystals that are completely invisible to the naked eye.
