September birthstone sapphire set

As September is just around the corner, we have put together a set of two masterpieces of sapphire, which is the birthstone for September.

GTJ started out as a corundum specialty store, but 2024 is a return to its roots with a focus on corundum.

We produce a lot of rubies and sapphires, but we want to make corundum, which tends to be expensive, as affordable as possible, and we also have a goal of making gemstones as close to free as possible. Therefore, this time we are introducing an incredible set in which you get a cornflower blue sapphire for free for the price of a padparadscha sapphire.

Moreover, the major feature of this set is not just that it is more affordable because it is put together as a set, but that each and every stone is a first-class quality stone.

Be sure to take part in this event and get your hands on a beautiful sapphire that is unique to GTJ.

Cornflower blue sapphire 1.58ct

6.7×5.1×5.2mm

Made in Sri Lanka

Super Gira Oval

Sorting acquisition schedule

This is a new cut piece that uses cornflower blue sapphire from Sri Lanka, a very popular and valuable color among blue sapphires, by making the table smaller and spreading out the flower cuts as much as possible.

The deep blue background is accented with a beautiful purple blue that sparkles and feels light and silky, giving the piece a strong yet soft feel with highly saturated colors.

Although it has very thick proportions, there is a secret behind its color and silkiness. The beautiful blue color seen from the crown side is actually due to the color band near the culet, and the silkiness is also due to silk inclusions that are present along with the blue.

The base color aside from the color band is a light blue that is almost colorless with a slight hint of green, and the color can be seen to sparkle faintly depending on the angle, but when viewed from the crown side, the secret is quite difficult to see, making this a masterpiece that is both interesting and of high quality.

Previously, our founder had created a masterpiece using the color of a culet made by veteran cutter Karaoke Uncle, but this stone's color band was positioned very well and only the center of the culet was off, so by balancing the outline, the cut balance was perfect.

There is a sparkling, silky inclusion near the culet and a few bubble inclusions nearby, but these are not visible to the naked eye and the stone is highly complete.

At first glance, it appears to be just a beautiful sapphire with a beautiful color, but in fact it is packed with interesting features. Please enjoy this one-of-a-kind sapphire brought to you by a corundum specialty store.

Unheated Padparadscha Sapphire 0.658ct

4.42×5.25×3.35mm

Made in Vietnam

Table Cube Oval

Piacchan's work

Sorting (simple identification certificate) included

This unheated padparadscha sapphire is from Luc Yen in northern Vietnam, and is a masterpiece with a bright, gorgeous, beautiful color that is a mix of soft pink and orange, covered with a veil of silky purple that is typical of this region.

Padparadscha means the color of the lotus flower in Sanskrit, and it is a unique and popular color among sapphires. The beautiful color of padparadscha sapphire, a mixture of lotus flower-like pink and orange, is called padparadscha sapphire.

This piece features a delicate sparkle from the flower cut and GTJ's original table cube cut, which creates a three-dimensional shape around the table on the crown side, adding to the fineness and overflowing with a beautiful padparadscha-colored sparkle.

It is a beautiful crystal with outstanding transparency, and there is one inclusion with orange components on the pavilion side, but when viewed from the front, it can be seen in the photo, and it is not noticeable at all to the naked eye.

Padparadscha sapphires are extremely rare, and the founder of GTJ, who has recently become obsessed with Vietnam, has always loved padparadscha and always has a padparadscha sensor attached when looking at gemstones. This time, he found a magnificent stone locally in Luc Yen.

Please enjoy the beauty of this piece, which features a single stone that is full of Luk Yen's unique style and is finished with an outstanding cut that is typical of GTJ.

This set is currently in our Bangkok office, so it will take about 1-2 weeks from order to delivery. Thank you for your understanding.
