This rare royal blue sapphire was produced in Burma, where the rough stone was purchased in Sri Lanka by the founder of GTJ, preformed locally, and finished in the Bangkok office.

This is the perfect shade of bright royal blue with a beautiful hint of purple, giving off a highly saturated sparkle.

The proportions are relatively thin and yet neatly cut, giving it a bright look without feeling too hollow, and you can fully enjoy the texture that looks like it was written in blue with crayon, as well as the color bands and shades of color.

It is a beautiful royal blue with depth and brightness, and although it does have some white streaks in it, they are not obtrusive and do not bother you much, but rather add a nice touch to the piece.

There is also an iridescent inclusion on the pavilion side, but it is not large or noticeable and just feels like a charming feature.
