This parti-color sapphire from Cameroon, a new source, has a nearly colorless light yellow base color with blue color bands in a bordered and stepped pattern, and is finished in a tapered shape that makes the most of the shape of the rough stone.

The color bands are arranged in a unique way, and at first glance it looks like there are many neatly spaced color bands, but the blue one in the foreground has color bands that end halfway up the stone, giving it a staircase-like appearance.

The light yellow and blue color bands blend together to create a greenish blue sparkle, and the overlapping color bands create a beautiful and interesting linear sparkle.

Deep blue pools at the top and bottom of the image, with glints of royal blue appearing depending on the angle.

There is a streak-like inclusion in the upper left corner of the image, but it overlaps with the cut line and is completely invisible to the naked eye.
