This Malaya garnet has a silky texture with thin, needle-like inclusions scattered throughout, and is cut into a diamond shape to allow for a soft purple luster.

The step cut on the crown side and the sharp cut on the pavilion side create a soft luster, and in natural light the purple adds orange, creating a beautiful look.

There is one bubble-like inclusion, but perhaps because it is silky, it is not as large or noticeable as it appears in the photo.

Enjoy this Malaya Garnet, which is over 1ct in size and has a large, interesting texture.
