This cobalt spinel is from Luc Yen in northern Vietnam, and is a masterpiece of over 1 carat in depth, beautiful blue with a slight green tint, and excellent color.

Because it is a rare stone, it has a standard cut, but it is a rare stone that is unique to GTJ, with a careful balance and a perfect cut.

The stone is extremely transparent and contains two large, faint white, layered inclusions, which resemble growth lines and are not obtrusive but rather interesting.

There are other small inclusions as well, but they are not considered major flaws.
