This is a lilac blue cobalt spinel from Tanzania, with beautiful crystals in a color similar to tanzanite, and is finished into a fancy round shape with finely outlined edges.

Cobalt spinel is prone to inclusions, but although it does have micro-particle inclusions, they are completely invisible to the naked eye and are an extremely beautiful crystal with outstanding transparency.

This 12-sided fancy round has delicate flower cuts on both sides, and its outstanding proportions allow the sparkle to spread from the center to the entire piece, making it a very perfect round shape.

The intense sparkle and flickering fire that are unique to spinel are gorgeous, and the blend of lilac and cobalt blue is beautiful.
