This piece is made of a beautiful blue Vietnamese cobalt spinel that is bright, gorgeous, and has a slight hint of lilac, and is finished into a cushion shape that is full of fine sparkle thanks to the flower cut.

Cobalt spinel is prone to inclusions, but this piece has a beautiful color with no noticeable inclusions, a strong blue, and is of very high quality.

It has excellent transparency and the beautiful cut gives it a sparkle that is mixed with colorful fire.

Relatively rare for this type of cobalt spinel, it fluoresces a faint red when exposed to UV light, although not very strongly.
