A sapphire from Nigeria, cut to resemble the long, slender "claw" of an animal.

With complex intermingling of blue, green, and yellow zoning and color bands, this stone displays a camouflage-like appearance.

The slender tip has a light yellow zone, with black accumulating at the very end while the yellow seems to recede, creating a design accent.

At the wider tip, a rich, silky blue accumulates, gradually fading towards the slender end in a gradient, with silky color bands adding to its complex appearance.

Within the silkiest zone, concentrated pockets of dark blue can also be observed.

In natural light, the overall appearance is a calm, somewhat darker tone, with flashes of neon green shimmering through the veil of silky dark navy.

When taken out of its case and illuminated with an LED light, the silky blue hidden within the camouflage emerges, and the neon green shimmer intensifies.

The crown features a checkerboard cut, while the pavilion's simple yet bold facets and the elongated facets near the culet create a flowing sparkle reminiscent of a scissor cut.
