This is a Tanzanian almandine garnet featuring a deep red base color, which, when illuminated, radiates a three-dimensional shimmer of pinkish-red.

It boasts a fancy oval shape with meticulously outlined edges, combining a flower cut on the pavilion side and a three-tiered step cut on the crown side.

The delicate sparkle from the flower cut is systematically reflected and amplified by the step cut, creating a vivid play of light within the deep red.

No prominent inclusions are observed within the crystal, and despite the deep color characteristic of almandine, it maintains high transparency.

Depending on the light source and angle, subtle colorful flashes of fire can be seen within the red, presenting a distinct appearance from typical dark red garnets, which can often be monotonous.

This stone masterfully combines a flower cut and a step cut, a pairing with relatively few examples, achieving a high level of perfection.
