This sapphire was from Kanchanaburi, which I visited on a jewel-focused trip in December 2023.

It is a parti-colored stone with a deep, vivid yellow and blue pools of color near the sides and culet, and the colors are clearly visible depending on the angle.

The colors are mixed together to create a cool blue mixed with green when viewed from the front, giving the piece a variety of different impressions.

This is a very interesting stone as it has a lily pad-like inclusion, a rainbow-colored crack in the light disk that can sometimes be seen in peridot.
