This piece is made of tsavorite from Tanzania that fluoresces in bright green UV light, and is flower cut into a sparkling round shape.

When you think of tsavorite, you probably imagine the dark green color found in Kenya, but in recent years there has been a trend among appraisal agencies overall to also call the light green gemstones from Tanzania tsavorite.

The delicate flower cut and outstanding proportions give the entire round a strong sparkle and colorful fire flickers.

There are tiny inclusions throughout the stone, but they are so subtle that they are completely invisible to the naked eye as they blend in with the sparkle.

This is a relatively rare type that fluoresces orange when exposed to UV light.
