This piece is made from intense hot neon pink spinel from Mahenge, Tanzania, and is fashioned into a neat step-cut parallelogram baguette.

I have made parallelograms several times before, but this time I made them as large as possible to match the shape of the rough stone, resulting in an outstanding finish.

Neon pink pools at both sharp ends of the parallelogram, creating a perfect combination between the neon pink and the shape.

The sparkling hegboehmite-like inclusions run diagonally and appear like schiller depending on the angle, but these beautiful crystals are completely invisible to the naked eye, and these inclusions are an added bonus that can be enjoyed with a magnifying glass.

The step cut creates a linear line of bright pink sparkle that connects the highly saturated neon pink color pools, and colorful fire also flickers.
