This piece is made from sapphire from Laos, a rare region that is rarely available on the market. The founder of GTJ, along with myself, Ilmo, went to Bokeo, Laos, where the sapphire mine is located, to procure it.

After arriving there, we went to a jewelry store, but there were many stones that looked quite suspicious, so we gave up on buying anything and instead went to a fruit wine store called Malacca that the big shot had discovered when he visited alone three years ago.

While tasting and purchasing the wine, the wine shop owner's wife showed us some sapphires that she had bought locally to make her own jewelry, and she gave us some.This meant that we were able to obtain sapphires from Bokeo, Laos, an unprecedented opportunity to purchase from a wine shop.

As a big name, the sapphires he was shown when purchasing were often of low transparency, and the ones he actually purchased also tended to be the same, with only a few stones being of a quality that met the GTJ standards, and this piece is definitely one of the top quality among them.

The gradation of blue luster is very beautiful, and this incredibly beautiful crystal has outstanding transparency and no inclusions noticeable to the naked eye, and has been finished into a fancy oval with a bordered outline.

The lightest blue sparkles have a hint of green and teal for a stunning hue.
