This cobalt spinel has a beautiful complex and rich blue sparkle with hints of green and violet, and is a color-changing spinel that changes to purplish pink when exposed to incandescent light.

The table has a rounded shape that is somewhere between a cushion and an oval, and features table cube cuts in the shape of GTJ's original box floating around the table, adding a sharp variation to the delicate sparkle of the flower cuts.

When observed in natural light, the sunlight causes a slight color change, with violet coming to the forefront, and the neon-like sparkle of cobalt blue also flickers, and the colorful fire mixes in for a beautiful party-like sparkle.

There are a few inclusions that appear to be apatite throughout the stone, but due to their fine size and transparency they are completely invisible to the naked eye.

Iron-cobalt spinel is found to be dichroic, and the beautiful blend of colors creates a beautiful effect, so we hope you will enjoy it in your hands.
