This is an unheated ruby ​​from Burma, preformed locally from rough stones procured in Sri Lanka and finished in Bangkok.

It is a vibrant silky pink with silk inclusions that are layered and diagonally arranged, giving it a partially transparent appearance and a silky, neon-like pink sparkle.
