This cobalt spinel is from Luc Yen in northern Vietnam and has a rare, bright color with cobalt bands, making it a beautiful gem with a refreshing sparkle and fire of lilac and greenish blue.

Due to its rarity, this type of stone is rarely cut to perfection, but this stone has been given a cube cut that creates a perfect octagon with GTJ's original three-dimensional shape, resulting in a finish that is the epitome of GTJ, maximizing the stone's potential.
