This cobalt spinel is from Luc Yen in northern Vietnam and is a beautiful crystal of deep violet.

It has a fancy round shape with a luxurious outline, and the table on the crown side is made very small to create an ultra-gorgeous cut with very fine flower cuts.When photographed from the front, the flower cuts on the pavilion side overlap in exquisite detail, creating a masterpiece with a kaleidoscope of beauty.

Cobalt spinel is prone to inclusions, but this piece is a beautiful crystal with no noticeable inclusions.

Although it is a relatively thin type, the Gira cut gives it no sense of thinness, so it feels large considering its carat weight.

When illuminated with LED light, the bright cobalt color gives off a beautiful, fine sparkle.
