Garnet is a well-known color that comes to mind first as the January birthstone.
The amount mined is relatively large and the price is reasonable, so I think many people will purchase it as their first collection.
Among them, there are various shades of red, such as red that is closer to brown and red that has an orange tint, but this color can be described as a deep velvety red.
The cut is the popular type 2 gemstone shape, which is voluminous and goes well with any base metal color, so even once it is tailored, you can enjoy it as a piece of jewelry with a great presence.

●Almandine Garnet●
It is the most common of the red garnets, and is redder than pyrope and has a higher iron content, making it appear blackish. It can also have a pinkish hue, and needle-like inclusions reduce the stone's transparency.
Almandine is often found in mica schist as dodecahedral crystals over 10 cm in size, and is known to come from areas such as East Africa, America, and Austria.
