Burmese sapphire, current condition 0.69ct

We are now introducing the BEFORE & AFTER challenge, unique to GTJ, which has been very well received, where we introduce the products in their BEFORE state, as they are when we receive them, and then cut them up after purchase and finish them into works of art.

This year is a peak sales week, and sapphire is the birthstone for September, so we decided to take on the challenge of buying a first-class lot of sapphires from Burma.

It has a deep, intense color with a velvety texture that looks like it could turn royal blue, and it is currently a 0.69ct cushion shape.

During the live broadcast, I said that I planned to finish it into an octagonal shape by removing the inclusion in one corner, but after thinking about it again, I decided that a gemstone shape would be more suitable, so I decided to finish it in that shape.

The goal for the finished product is 0.3 to 0.4 ct, and the normal listing price would be around 100,000 yen, but since this is a challenging campaign that requires a lot of courage as we don't know how the stone will turn out, we will be listing it at a special price of 50,000 yen.

This will be a rare challenge with the precious and expensive beautiful blue sapphire from Burma, so we hope you will be brave and take advantage of it.
